When you first create a RESAAS group, a pop up window will appear that will allow you to add RESAAS members.
To do so, type the ‘@’ symbol + a user’s first/last name within the ‘Add Members’ field.
A drop-down menu will appear providing suggestions in which you can choose from.
Invite members from within the group:
Once a group has been created, you can still invite RESAAS users to join. Only the group creator will have this ability.
To do so:
- Locate the Invite Icon at the top right corner of the Group Page
- Click the Invite Icon and select Invite Members
- Type the ‘@’ symbol + a user’s first/last name in the text box in the pop up window
- Click the blue Add to Group button.
A drop-down menu will appear as you begin to enter the member's @ + first/last name, providing suggestions which for you to select from.
